TOOLS OF EXECUTION
As a social enterprise with intellectual base, CSBEE uses the Maslow’s hierarchies of needs as a template to categorize the problems we have identified and use the best possible sociological strategies required to solve them.
We deploy the TOC tool (Theory of Change) as a social mechanism for structuring all our ideas. This TOC model thrives on the elements of;
- Desired outcome: Every socio economic problem that we embark to solve must be plausible/truthful based on empirical evidences, feasible based on resource availability and testable based on established key indicators. These are the key initiatives we consider for solving socio- economic or socio- ecological problems.
- The assumed relationship: For every socio- economic problem that we want to solve, we have this assumption that no problem exists in isolation. As a result, we diagnose the problem and solutions by considering these parameters; THE SYSTEM which speaks of policies and institutional frame works, POWER DYNAMICS represent corporate and cultural institutions and the influence they exert in creating or solving the problem and the USERS are classified as the victim or the beneficiary of the proposed solutions.
- Strategic thinking processes: Is the template for executing the strategic solutions we have devised. This process follows a logical and chronological patterns of executions. This logical model is made of input, output and output.
– Input (resources, contributions and investments);
– Output (Activities, services and products) and
– Outcome (results, measuring indicators)
This is a creative solution to human centered problems that follows a logical process. The application of design thinking helps us to become social innovators by;
- Finding a similarity between the social intervention program we are proposing and commercial benefits it brings to a business or brands.
- Finding the difference between two similar ideas and use these differences to solve sociological problems and enhance the brand equity of an enterprise
